The Schuberth C3 is the smallest, lightest & quietest Flip-Front in the World is set
to become Schuberth's flagship Race helmet. 3cm shorter and 1cm
narrower than the C2, the Schuberth C3 is 160g lighter than the C2 and 2.5dB quiter than
the C2.
Developed and used by legendary Seven Times Formula One world champion turned bike racer Michael Schumacher
The Schuberth C3 is set to take motorcycle helmets to a new level by
being the first ever flip front lid to be developed and used by Michael
Schumacher in his debut into motorcycle racing. Schumacher reckons
that in the 30-40 minutes before a race when everyone else is getting
hotter and increasingly uncomfortable in their full-face, he can be as
cool as a cucumber in a flip-front. In F1 a tenth of a second is a
huge advantage - and that's what he thinks he might get into the first
corner by feeling fresher than the rest.
The Schuberth C3 is
smaller, lighter and quieter than the C2 model with an amazing 84dB
@60mph, for the first time a flip front helmet has now reached racing
specification and will become the benchmark that others will follow.
